My name is Emmie van Stijn and I am a fourth year student at Codarts University. I study jazz vocals, but I also sing pieces from different genres like pop or soul music. I am 24 years old and I live in Rotterdam since May 2020.

When I graduated high school, I studied pedagogy for two years. I really liked the study, but I always wanted to study music (very cliche I know).

I am writing my thesis about collaborative musical workforms for refugee children and youngsters and the contribution to their feeling of empowerment and connection.
